This mantel was handcrafted from wood found in a barn at a horse farm in Calhoun, Georgia. We took this piece and after cutting it to size we hand-planed and sanded to bring out the true beauty of the swirling grain. 

This mantel is approximately 6 feet in length, five inches high and has varying with because of the live edge. 

Sometimes known as the poor man's walnut, this mantel has a distinct grain pattern with light and dark patches of color. The wood for this mantel was collected from a small saw mill in Jasper, GA. 

This piece is about 7 feet in langth and can be cut to any length you desire.
